Meet Dr. Tyler Lee (Lincoln, NE)

Tyler Lee, OD, is originally from Doniphan, MO. Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, obtaining a biology and chemistry degree in 2013.

He continued his education by earning a Doctorate in 2017 at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. His externship rotations were at the Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut in Fairfield, CT, and the Kendall Eye Institute in Kendall, FL, where he received training in ocular disease. Right after optometry school, he received an offer to practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Lee worked there for over a year before moving back to be closer to family and friends. He continued practicing in Lincoln for six months before transitioning to Eyecare Specialties.

Dr. Lee knew from a young age that this was the career path he wanted to pursue. “There is no feeling like being able to help others with their visual concerns, as well as build a long-term relationship with those very patients.”
