Doug Harshman, OD, has practiced optometry for more than 15 years. His patients have appreciated his honest and genuine approach to their eye care needs. He specializes in ocular disease, including dry eye treatment, urgent care services, comprehensive family eye care, and specialty contact lens fittings.

Originally from Nebraska City, Dr. Harshman also received recognition in the field of optometry while living in Washington State. He has lectured and published on various topics regarding ocular disease.

Dr. Harshman is married to his wife Amy and enjoys spending time with their two children, volunteer-coaching his children’s sports teams, assisting in the classroom at his children’s school, teaching Sunday School at New Covenant Community Church, and playing an occasional round of golf. He is also involved in local and international optometric mission work.
